I am making an assumption that female sports journalists aren’t consumed at the rate that male sports journalists are. But after scrolling through news pages online, I CANT SEEM TO FIND ANY FEMALE SPORTS JOURNALISTS!!! argh.
I am looking for journalists that are reporting on what are assumed as ‘predominantly male’ sports, so far I have only found female journalists reporting on women sports and the overall reaction from the public is positive.
So what I am thinking, and I am thinking out loud, is that there aren’t as many female journalists because they aren’t consumed at the rate male journalists are and new companies don’t want to lose ratings. Another theory is that women are only reporting on female played sports when men report on all sports.
