Who am I?

A little speel on behind the author of L.W.S- the sustainable.

This is me!

Hi, my name’s Hailee and I’m an 18-year-old university student from Wollongong. I work at my local coffee shop and I’m obsessed with the beach. The inspiration behind this little section of my blog is the interest that I have in writing and sustainability. At uni I am completing two degrees, majoring in both journalism and global sustainability. L.W.S- the sustainable has allowed me to combine both of these majors in one fun little area.

Above is a little slide show to show what I like to do. I love a bushwalk, I’d like to think I’m a bit of a hippie, I’m close with my family and friends. Most importantly I won two dogs Klooney (Cattle Dog x) and Storm (Golden Retriever). I still live at home, tryna save the mula ;). I love a solid day out and exploring new areas but could also go for a day indoors with a book.

I’ll link my Instagram below so you can check out what else I get up to and how cringe my content actually is.

My interest in the environment and sustainability began a few years back but really began to take off this year. After I began to follow different people on Instagram that follow a slow and sustainable lifestyle I wanted to do the same. I’d like to think I’m not an annoying greenie, but if you ask me a question or for my opinion I’ll talk ya’ ear off for a bit, I guess you could just ask my boyfriend about that.

I also became addicted to piercings this year, makes me feel a bit like the main character but I promise my septum is a personality trait… most of the time.

I’ll be real I am really friendly and always up for a chat, I could talk for hours which is why I write. I have had a passion for writing since I can remember, in school, I always wrote short stories and I loved a good “tell me about what you did on the weekend recount”.

Anyway, I’ll stop chatting for now, if you want to hear more or just have a chat you can reach out through my Instagram or any of my other media.

Hailee x
